Well, this oven will be the last product I ever buy from Sears, thanks to their "service" policies.

Howard called them this morning and got someone in India, first off, who of course knew nothing but what was in her binder. Not her fault at all. So, you call for repairs, you expect to be told "it'll cost you X dollars to have someone come out and tell you what's wrong, and then he'll give you an estimate."

Not here. There are 2 service options, $129 and $279. You are supposed to pick one before anyone knows what the problem is. This makes no sense. We took the cheaper one, of course. And the first appointment they could give us is on Friday. I won't use the oven till it's fixed, which is a damn nuisance, since we make our own bread as well as cook fat-free in the oven a lot.
